With over 20 years of experience as an educator, Cara has dedicated herself to nurturing young minds and fostering a love for reading and learning. Born and raised in Berkshire County, Massachusetts, she embarked on her educational journey at Siena College in Loudonville, NY, and later pursued her master’s degree in Education with a concentration in reading at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in North Adams, MA. But Cara’s talents and passions extend beyond the realm of education. As a Reiki Master and Intuitive Coach, she understands the importance of balance, well-being, and connecting with the deeper aspects of ourselves. As the Owner and Operator of Balance and Bliss Wellness, Cara brings this holistic approach to her writing, infusing the Fairy Slippers series with themes of self-discovery, resilience, and the magic that lies within us all. Cara resides in Pittsfield, Massachusetts with her husband, John, daughter Sophia, son Ricky, and three bonus children, Arden, Everett, and Beckett. Together, they create a loving and supportive environment where creativity and family thrive.
